Hot on the heels of another sold-out GEL-Kayano 14 duo, JJJJound and ASICS are keeping their momentum going with a GEL-Quantum 360 collaboration on June 26th. The Montreal design studio unveiled the sneaker back in May and has now gone public with a full unveiling.
Introduced in 2015, the GEL-Quantum 360 was the first ASICS sneaker to feature full-length GEL cushioning, starting a line that now boasts a total of eight iterations. ASICS began the model’s return to shelves with a “Graphite Grey/Hazard Green” general release a few weeks ago (style code 1203A750-020) and is now ready to jumpstart its comeback with a major link-up. JJJJound’s interpretation brings modern, lifestyle-focused hardware changes to the upper, starting with full-length mesh featuring helix detailing on both sides. Added leather panels make up the toe cap, mudguard, and heel, the last of which curves around a triangular overlay. True to JJJJound’s low-key design language, the sneaker comes in a crisp white colorway featuring tasteful pops of the cream on the heel and GEL cushioning. While not evident in the image set below, reflective eyelets add some subtle intrigue.
The JJJJound ASICS GEL-Quantum 360 is scheduled to release at 12 PM EST via jjjjound.com on June 26th, but no price has been set at the time of this writing. It’s possible the sneaker could release through the ASICS website and/or retailers at a later date. Enjoy official images below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more ASICS collabs.
