The quilted pattern, a defining aspect of the P-Rod 1 both in its initial run and two decades in, remains in this pair, displaying the “R” monogram with glossy leather at the heel. Overall, nearly no changes are made from the 2000s variation, ensuring that Rodriguez’s monumental footwear legacy is revisited true-to-form.
Expect the Nike SB P-Rod 1 in “Black/Varsity Red” to receive the same SNKRS rollout as the “White/Black,” retailing for $115. Perhaps indicating that a release is coming sooner than later, Rodriguez himself seemingly began teasing this colorway about a week before this publication.
