The last few weeks haven’t been enjoyable at all for FC Porto fans, with the Portuguese club falling flat in the Club Word Cup and now planning significant shake-ups ahead of next season. While the organization grapples with plenty of questions, we at least know that players will once again lace up New Balance in 2026 (and through 2029 for that matter). Following a pop-up activation in NYC, New Balance is continuing to give the club special treatment with an impending New Balance 2002R release.
Matching FC Porto’s striped New Balance kits, the 2002R here takes on a multi-color palette with special detailing. A navy mesh base is overlaid by grey, white, and royal blue panels, including a leather placement around the quarter. Orange/yellow detailing hops on the heel, inner tongue, and New Balance logos, while the FC Porto crest appears over striped insoles.
The FC Porto New Balance 2002R is due out Fall 2025, meaning between July-September. Budget for a $145 retail price if these are a must.
