Comme des Garçons SHIRT is bringing back the ASICS GEL-SD Lyte for Spring/Summer 2026. The silhouette originally released in the early 2010s, but was overlooked as ASICS focused on older retro styles. Now, with tech runners back in demand, the GEL-SD Lyte returns.
Revealed during the brand’s Paris Fashion Week show on June 28th, this collection includes three colorways. Each pair features a crisp white mesh base with red, blue, or black overlays. A standout design twist is the extended outsole that wraps into the toe, offering a fresh update to the classic model.
The sneakers were seen styled on the runway with wide trousers and relaxed tailoring, highlighting their everyday wearability. While the upper remains true to its running roots, the updated tooling gives the sneaker a fashion-forward edge.
The CDG SHIRT x ASICS GEL-SD Lyte collaboration is set to release in Spring 2026. Expect availability through select retailers and Dover Street Market locations.
