Nike is stepping into new territory with the upcoming Nike Shox Z. Scheduled to drop Fall 2025, the sneaker blends throwback tech with a look inspired Kitten Heels.
The upper features a mesh that keeps things breathable. Wave-like ridges along the sides give the shoe texture. No sew overlays around the toe and laces add subtle structure.
What really turns heads is the heel. Nike’s familiar dual Shox columns return, but this time they’re paired with a lifted heel design that nods to classic women’s footwear.
You’ll also notice small functional touches. The padded tongue includes a pull tab for easy on-and-off. A molded heel counter keeps things steady, and the outsole grips well on a variety of surfaces.

Look for the Nike Shox Z to release Fall 2025 via Nike.com and select retailers. The retail price is $140 USD.
While past Shox models were all about performance, this one leans into everyday wear. It feels like Nike is exploring what lifestyle sneakers can be; beyond trends, beyond nostalgia.
