Nike continues the Kobe Bryant legacy with a special crossover collection that pays tribute to one of the game’s greatest football clubs: FC Barcelona. For the first time ever, Kobe’s signature sheath logo debuts on Barcelona’s 2025–26 away kit. Inspired by the Mamba’s on-court accuracy and laser-focused mentality, the jersey is now available at Nike.com and makes its match debut on July 31 when Barça faces FC Seoul.
In addition to the jersey, the Nike Kobe FC Barcelona collection includes a full range of footwear and apparel. Highlights include the Nike Kobe 4 Protro and Air Force 1 Low, each styled in the club’s colors. The Kobe 4 Protro features a pristine sand upper with purple and black detailing while the AF1 Protro dons faux snakeskin in a contrasting purple, with custom Kobe details and Barça crests. To round out the collection, the Kobe slides also drop.
Kobe was a lifelong football fan, and his connection with FC Barcelona was well-known and documented. With this collection, Nike pays homage to his passion for the beautiful game by unifying two of the brand’s most internationally beloved athletes and icons.
In our opinion, this collection transcends crossovers. Kobe had a mentality that spanned court and field, and this release is one more way we get to keep the legend alive.
