Utilizing the platform from the Speedgoat 5, the Speed Loafer delivers the mashup construction that’s become a hallmark of the category, a Frankenstein mashup with a traditional tasseled loafer upper. In this two-pack, we see ties to the inaugural two, with a “Walnut” colorway delivering on the comprehensive tonal palette that the all-black sported, this time further delving into formalwear with refined brown leather. Its counterpart, a “Birch” variation, cops the split blocking from the earlier “Asphalt/Ember,” iterating with a calmer blend of off-white uppers and a navy mudguard and sole unit.
