Visual pop takes center stage with New Balance’s 509 “Aurora Borealis” Pack dropping Fall 2025. The futuristic iridescent overlays mimic the Northern Lights while staying true to 509’s retro running DNA.
The drop features two colorways. One transitions from bright purple to deep blue, while the other focuses on cool blue-greens. Both sit on a black mesh upper and midsole to keep the spotlight on their color shifting uppers.
As usual, NB’s ABZORB cushioning provides a comfy ride underfoot. The black rubber outsole offers durability and function for everyday use.

The 509 silhouette hasn’t had many noteworthy colorways, so the shoe really gets the spotlight with this pack. The gradient upper finish is especially unique on this model, giving it a futuristic vibe.
