Timberland and SEGA just teamed up for a nostalgic, limited-edition drop—Sonic the Hedgehog Timberland Boots. The release is a one-off to commemorate the grand opening of Timberland’s first Japanese flagship store.
The boots maintain Timberland’s signature wheat colorway but are accented with engraved Sonic graphics on the lateral heel and tongue tag. Electric blue laces provide just a hint of Sonic’s signature bold style. Other details like co-branded hangtags and etched logos are not to be missed.
The exclusive drop will only see 30 pairs of the Sonic Timberland boots released. They are set to be some of the rarest Timberland collaborations to ever release. You can grab a pair of the limited edition boots in-store exclusively at the new Timberland Shibuya Parco store in Tokyo.
Other pieces include Sonic-themed limited apparel. Short sleeve and long sleeve tees will be available but only at 50 pieces each. Limited releases have always been a hallmark of Sonic’s fanbase and Timberland’s brand of collabs throughout the years.
The full collection hits shelves Saturday, August 9th. The boots retail for ¥38,500 JPY (approx. $260 USD).
If you’re in Tokyo, this one’s a must-cop. Everyone else? Better start checking the resell market.
