Jordan City Boot Flax HV4580-200

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Nike and Jordan Brand have come out with a slew of Timberland boot competitors over the years; “Flax” Air Force 1s, “Winterized” Jordan releases – you name it. While Timbs (or “Butters”) will always reign supreme as the holy grail of workwear street style, some of Beaverton’s propositions, namely the resurgent Air Max Goadome, Lunar Force 1, and “Winterized” Spiz’ike, have managed to earn cult followings of their own. For Fall/Winter 2025, Jordan Brand is dipping back into that genre with a new model called the Jordan City Boot, shown here via official images.

There’s no shying away from the City Boot’s clear Timberland aesthetic, especially in this quintessential “Flax” colorway. The upper is comprised of what appears to be soft nubuck material, complete with gold hexagonal eyelets and red/tan rope laces (just like Timbs). Two key panels make up lower half, while the top features some unique sculpting, three lines of stitching, and gold Jumpman logos on the lateral side. Rugged black mesh settles on the tongue and collar of this “Flax” colorway, while a chunky boot sole unit materializes underfoot.

The Jordan City Boot is expected to release Fall/Winter 2025 in a handful of different colorways. No MSRP has been confirmed as of this writing; stay tuned for further updates.
