The WNBA sure knows how to open a season—with a rivalry, record-breaking rookie, and some seriously shiny shoes. Caitlin Clark, aka the walking bucket from Indiana Fever, laced up the new Kobe 5 Protro Rookie of the Year PE. Why? Because she’s basically rewriting WNBA history in real-time.
Inspired by Indiana Fever colors and her Rookie of the Year award (which she basically won in February), this PE rocks a metallic silver upper with bold red hits. It screams, “I’m here, I pass better than you, and my kicks know it.”
Clark isn’t new to rocking heat either. She’s already paraded around in exclusive Kobe 6 and Kobe 5 Player Exclusives that made sneakerheads cry in unreleased despair. This PE? Yeah, not releasing either—sorry, we’re all just here to suffer.
Nike, however, will throw us a bone. The Kobe 5 “Indiana Fever” drops June 2025, while the Kobe 6 “Light Armory Blue” joins the holiday madness. So at least your wallet can get a workout, too.
Caitlin’s rookie stats? She led the league in three-pointers, shattered the assist record with 337 dimes, and made defenders rethink their careers. She received 66 of 67 Rookie of the Year votes, and rumor has it—a Caitlin Clark signature shoe is in the pipeline.
