Not that we’re anywhere close to the cooler and wetter climates of Autumn, Nike is gearing up for the turning of the season with defense-driven classics to ensure you’re prepared for the inevitable turn of the weather. From durable Cordura fabrics to the water-wicking Gore-Tex, these protective placements become the norm towards the end of the year, and one of 2024’s surprise hits looks to return a year later in some new colorways.
These official retailer images of the Air Max Sunder Gore-Tex reveal a new “Burgundy Crush” colorway of the women’s exclusive model, boasting a wine-red treatment of the nylon upper. It appears that the water-resistant qualities are limited to just that gridded covering, because the mudguard and the armor plating seem consistent with the non-Gore-Tex versions.
