From the moment his partnership with Reebok was announced a year and a half ago, Tobe Nwigwe made sure to keep things a family affair. For his next project with the American sportswear brand, he once again ensures that feet of all sizes are included in this upcoming Fall drop.
Called the CHUKWU ABUO (the latter translating to “two” in the Nigerian Igbo language), this next release leverages the DNA of the brand’s BB 4000 II basketball shoe from the 1980s, upgraded with a mixed-material upper in hairy suedes. His stand-out mint floods the entirety of the build, from the curved overlays that add a stylish new dimension to the silhouette to the lace toggle that locks the feet in.
Alongside the signature green hue, Reebok and Tobe are offering the CHUKWU ABUO in a Chalk/Gum style. Both will be available on August 22nd in adult sizes all the way down to toddler sizes; see a closer look at both styles below.
