If you tuned into Nike’s Fall/Holiday 2025 SNKRS Showcase preview earlier this year, there’s a good chance you spotted the undiscussed GT Cut 3 Turbo pictured alongside pairs like the “Cough Drop” Foams and rollout Nike Ja 3 colorways. As we quietly speculated at the time, the sneaker is in fact a Jrue Holiday PE and will see a public release in the very near future.
Let’s clear the air; these were 100% intended to match Holiday’s Boston Celtics uniform. Our first look at the sneaker came just one day after the defense-minded guard was shipped off to Portland for Anfernee Simons; a potential explanation as to why Nike’s SNKRS Showcase hosts didn’t bring it up. Jrue Holiday has been a face of Nike GT Cut footwear for years and championed the GT Cut 3 Turbo ahead of its debut late last season, making him an obvious choice for a PE drop.
An off-white “Alabaster” color does most of the heavy lifting, complemented by “Clay Green” on the tongue/lining and “Green Shock” on the Swoosh, inner tongue, and ZoomX cushioning window. Jrue Holiday will wear #5 for the Trailblazers, but his Celtics #4 is outlined on the lateral side of the heel. Underfoot, a “Gum Medium Brown” outsole concludes the belated release.
The Nike GT Cut 3 Turbo “Jrue Holiday” releases August 28th for $210; see official images below and hit our Sneaker Release Dates page to browse more upcoming hoops shoes.
