The Jordan Session “Somos Eternos” honors Día de Muertos with stories steeped in culture and symbolism.
Garbed in burnt orange leather and beige suede, the duo dons exaggerated overlays with dimensional paneling. Cream laces complement the natural hues, while black trim and gum outsoles provide a timeless touch. A cracked midsole pattern alludes to the themes of life, death, and rebirth throughout time, which are a part of the Mexican holiday.
The tongue features a custom sun-and-skull badge in place of the usual Jordan branding, and the insoles have coffin artwork and the phrase “Por los que ya no están.” The shoebox itself is decked out in navy with “Somos Eternos” (We Are Eternal) printed on the lid.
