The Jordan Trunner O/S is officially debuting and Jordan Brand has provided a fitting launch pad for the retro runner. One particular drop, an all-new “Purple Smoke” colorway, injects something of a lifestyle flavor into today’s typical exercise and running-focused drops.
As sneaker trends further shift from ‘80s basketball silhouettes to ‘90s-inspired suede and mesh runners, the Trunner O/S could not be more timely. Arriving in the early 2000s as a jack-of-all-trades lifestyle shoe, the Trunner collection has long been synonymous with multi-function training and running sneakers.
The silhouette’s upper is a tough mesh and suede patchwork decked out in muted purples, highlighted by electric blue laces and stringing. A molded midfoot strap keeps things secure, a common Trunner feature. A sturdy chunky foam midsole in soft pink hues provides further support and nostalgia. Jumpman branding, along with pops of yellow in the heel, help to finish the style.
The Jordan Trunner O/S “Purple Smoke” will drop in October 2025 at select Jordan Brand retailers and on Nike.com. The retail price is set at $115 USD.
