How to buy the Nike Mars Yard 3.0
The Nike Mars Yard 3.0 will be a highly limited sneaker, which each store carrying a very scarce amount of pairs. Each of the above retailers will likely carry out a draw/raffle for the release. Retailers may limit purchases to customers who have accumulated a certain amount of points in the I.S.R.U. app, or at the very least, have the app downloaded.
Why is the Nike Mars Yard shoe so popular?
The Nike Mars Yard shoe by Tom Sachs gained popularity for its unique design concept. They were designed as athletic sneakers for astronauts and rocket scientists, while the signature brown/red colorway mimicked the surface of the red planet Mars. They were released in very limited quantity exclusively at NikeLab retailers globally and at Tom Sachs art installations in New York City.
How many Nike Mars Yard shoes are there?
Tom Sachs and Nike have created three different versions of the Mars Yard sneaker, with each successor featuring new materials and construction for better fit and comfort. The Mars Yard 1.0 model release in 2012, followed by the Mars Yard 2.0 in 2017 and the Mars Yard 3.0 in 2025. There was also the Mars Yard Overshoe, which featured the same sneaker with a white Tyvek shin-high shroud with two buckles.
