The OVO x Air Jordan 10 “Black” was first released in April 2015 at an exclusive, surprise OVO pop-up in Los Angeles. The shoe released alongside the “White” colorway, and immediately built hype for its exclusivity and quality craftsmanship.
Crafted with a tumbled black leather upper, along with stingray overlays, metallic gold logo details, and a translucent outsole, the shoe looked both premium and versatile. The Jordan 10 was one of the OVO line’s earliest sneaker collaborations and is one of the most premium. That’s why Drake fans and sneakerheads alike still love these shoes today.
The “Black” pair officially re-released during 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto, fitting for Drake’s hometown show. In September that same year, both the Black and White versions restocked online in limited quantities, and sold out in no time. The OVO Jordan 10 has been a highly coveted collaboration since its release.
