Virgil Abloh Nike Air Force 1 Low Green Sample

The biggest sneaker headline this October isn’t tied to a retail calendar. Nike and the Virgil Abloh Archive just opened Virgil Abloh: The Codes in Paris, running from September 30 through October 9, spotlighting unreleased designs from the late creative’s tenure.

One standout is a striking green Air Force 1 sample. The pair mirrors Abloh’s earlier Off-White AF1s yet introduces new twists. Instead of the silver “Off-White for Nike” branding seen on a 2022 sample, this version displays “V.A.A. for Nike” in gold. A 2025 hangtag raises intrigue, but no release date has been confirmed. For now, it looks like an exclusive for Abloh’s close circle.

Virgil’s experimental touch combined with vintage AF1 genes is a potent combo that goes some way to explaining why his Air Force 1 projects always seem to generate the most noise. Some sneakerheads are already calling it one of the strongest unseen Abloh pairs yet.

The Paris exhibition also showcases other unreleased Air Force 1 and Jordan models, while fans await the “Sesame” AF1 expected to launch later in 2025. If you are in Paris, it is a rare opportunity to see Virgil’s incomplete work in person.

This “Green” Air Force 1 will remain unreleased. Stay tuned for updates if Nike moves forward with a drop.
