The New Balance 2002R “Protection” Pack is making a clean comeback this Fall 2025 in three monochrome colorways.
Launching in “White,” “Black,” and “Shipyard,” the collection’s focused shadeways keep the focus on the model’s frayed suede overlays and breathable mesh base for the rugged yet refined design that made the series so popular in the first place.
Each colorway also reiterates the raw-edge look that made the Protection Pack stand out. The effect gives the silhouette a layered, punk-meets-preppy feel, but is toned down enough to remain streetwear ready. The muted colorways are subtle enough that they will pair well with a number of fits. That stripped-back approach is also what makes the reissue feel so timeless, which is why the 2002R can still resonate with sneaker culture.
