Air Jordan 40 Heritage “Medium Olive” HQ2077-200

Air Jordan models past 30 have been inherent celebrations of the history of the numbered series. Towards the earlier end of that lineage, the odes have been incredibly obvious, as the Jordan 31’s resemblance to Mike’s first signature was undeniable and served as the central cue for the design team. In more recent pairs, the Jumpman has shifted into more indirect nods to its forebears, yet the history of the product line that revolutionized footwear and in many ways spawned the collecting scene that we now champion is still felt.

All of that comes to a head with the Air Jordan 40 “Heritage,” an aptly titled edition of the pinnacle Jordan model that’s warranted relatively warm responses to date. Though the “Medium Olive” tones and orange flares down the tongue connect well to A-list kicks like the “Undefeated” Jordan 4 or perhaps Travis Scott shoes, the real development here is the canvas foundation of the upper. With the debut pair utilizing leather and some later follow-ups leaning toward suede, this showcases the potential versatility of the Jumpman’s latest.

The Air Jordan 40 “Heritage” is expected to release on October 16th, retailing for $205 in adult sizing. Catch official images included below and watch our Jordan Release Dates page for more updates on this shoe and all the Jumpman has in store.
