Inspired by the award-winning theatrical hit, PUMA and Wicked have created a sneaker collection that pays homage to the musical’s core characters and classic story.
The “Elphaba” Speedcat by Wicked channels the spunky spirit of the musical’s standout anti-heroine. In keeping with Elphaba’s gothic flair, black uppers feature dimensional ruffles and electric green foil stitching for an edgy touch. A tongue tag inscribed with the word “Wicked” seals the look with a touch of drama.
Glinda’s collaboration is a master class in fabulous. Feminine pastels like soft pink and lilac are elevated with frilly accents and crystal embellishments. Bubble embroidery on the heel references her enchanted travel bubble.
Completing the collection is the “Silver Slippers” Speedcat Ballet, a glittering Mary Jane silhouette inspired by Dorothy’s iconic footwear. Metallic uppers, spiral stitch lines and three glitter straps complete the shoe.
Wicked-themed branding and theatrical elements make an appearance on each style.
