Zellerfeld and Nike aren’t done with the Air Max 1000 yet. With just a hyper-limited number of pairs reaching the public via the Black and Oat colors earlier this year, the innovative duo of brands is only scratching the surface of possibilities with its futuristic reinterpretations of Air Max.
For now, we’re still anchored in the Air Max 1000, and it appears that a “Lilac” colorway is expected to launch later this year. This new colorway briefly appeared on the Zellerfeld website before being removed, but Sneaker News was able to capture a closer look at the monochromatic purple colorway.
Like the aforementioned Black and Oat editions, the “Lilac” applies one color throughout the entirety of the 3D-printed sneaker’s build, with a hit of bright red crimson appearing on the visible Air unit at the heel.
Currently, there are no release dates confirmed for the $180 sneaker, although it’s possible that Nike could drop a limited batch at the upcoming ComplexCon Las Vegas at the end of October.
