Air Jordan 12 Taxi CT8013-117

November is shaping up to be one of the most heat-packed months for 2025 Jordan releases. The highly anticipated Travis Scott Fragments are finally set to launch, the Jordan 1 Low OG returns in its “Chicago” colorway, and the “Black Cat” 4s close things out on Black Friday… and that’s just the tip of the iceberg. For the uncs, Jordan Brand is also set to drop the Jordan 12 “Taxi” for the first time since 2013, a bit of an appetizer ahead of the model’s 30th anniversary next year.

The Jordan 12 “Taxi,” an original colorway from 1996, has served as a jumping-off point for spinoff releases more than it’s actually been retro’d. We’ve gotten red Taxis, black Taxis, low-top Taxis… the list goes on (and some are admittedly best forgotten). As we’re all well aware, there’s no substitute for the original. Doing its best possible impression of the OG, the 2025 edition features a tumbled white leather upper, black mudguard, and Metallic Gold hardware. A black and yellow carbon fiber-inspired pattern on the outsole gives the shoe its “Taxi” nickname, while red and yellow accents flush out the toe portion and spine.

The “Taxi” 12s help close out a rather impressive run for the model in 2025. The “Flu Game” 12s got the party started back in February, followed by the return of non-OG bangers like the “Melo” and “Flu Game.” 2026 is already looking promising for AJ12 fans as well, led by key drops like the Jordan 12 “Bloodline.”

Back to the sneaker at hand, the Air Jordan 12 “Taxi” is due out November 8th in full family sizing, priced at $210 for adults. See official retailer images below and return to our Where To Buy section for purchase links on that date.
