The clock is ticking on the Nike Book 1 era, but there’s still plenty of time to appreciate the many player exclusives that helped define it. Few athletes embody the PE spirit quite like PJ Tucker – a certified sneakerhead and walking archive of Nike heat. Over the Book 1’s nearly two-year run, Tucker has racked up an impressive slate of exclusives, including a “Chapter 0” edition, a mismatched “Texas vs. Kentucky” pair, and a pastel set for the 2024 playoffs.
This newly-uncovered duo pulls from one of Nike Basketball’s most legendary lines: the Foamposite. Tapping into the brand’s own archives has been a recurring theme throughout the Book 1’s life cycle, with nods to icons like the Air Max 95 and ACG classics just to name a few. Two sneakers come to mind here — the Foamposite One “Royal” and the Foamposite One “Light Orewood Brown”. Each pair features a leather base, black hits on the tongue, collar, and eyelets, and Swoosh logos that mirror the Foamposite’s signature carbon fiber detailing.
These are unlikely to see a public release, especially with the Nike Book 1 beginning to wind down. Devin Booker has already been spotted wearing the Nike Book 2 in practice, with the sequel set to make its official debut in Spring 2026.
