As the market has gotten more and more familiar with the Pegasus Premium, Nike has diverged from the flooded, tonal looks that defined its early run. United pack releases like the “Running Poets” or otherwise endeavors like the “International Running” series showcase more overarching narrative efforts, but the Pegasus Premium again showcases its siloed ability to get wild with a “Bright Crimson” colorway that’s just touched down.

In the Rorschach test that is this colorful colorway, we land on the side of fiery aesthetics, but you wouldn’t be out of bounds to tie this back to more well-established “Galaxy” themes, either. Though the psychedelic patterning in the upper and “Racer Blue” mesh alongside make for the high-vis energy we expect in running shoes, black anchoring in the spaces between manages to create some grounded aspects to this look. Of course, the triple stack, tech-filled cushioning remains intact, ensuring the padded and confident ride the Pegasus Premium has delivered all year.

The Nike Pegasus Premium “Bright Crimson” is listed via retailers and Nike for an October 30th date, but direct links haven’t surfaced at the time of this writing.
