The New York Knicks debuted their City Edition court for the 2025-26 season last night, and with it came our first look at the latest Kith x Nike collaboration. Designed by Kith founder and Knicks creative director Ronnie Fieg, the court features the team’s classic logo at half court and a checkerboard pattern within the three-point area inspired by the Kith monogram, creating a natural blend of New York basketball heritage and Fieg’s signature design language.
Ronnie Fieg sat courtside for the occasion, joined by Complex Sneaker Shopping host Joe La Puma. On-foot was a Knicks-inspired Kith x Nike Air Max 95. Shown here in detail via images posted by Complex, the sneaker reimagines the model’s OG grey gradient with an embossed Kith monogram across the sidewalls, alternating between rectangles featuring the Kith logo, Swooshes, and blank space. The eyelets come in orange, the tongue and lining come in black, and a blue big bubble Air unit sits underfoot. The spine hasn’t been fully revealed, but it appears to echo the Kith monogram with a checkerboard pattern.
Fieg was named the Knicks’ first-ever creative director in 2022 and oversees the team’s City Edition jerseys and court. His role has intersected with footwear several times, most notably through official Kith x New Balance x Madison Square Garden collaborations released annually since 2023 to coincide with Kith Night (see this year’s New Balance 993 duo). We’ve also seen Knicks-inspired ASICS and Nike releases over the years, including a Air Force 1 duo reminiscent of the iconic “Taiwan” style. This latest pair marks a major milestone for Kith as the brand’s first collaboration on an Air Max silhouette, and on one of Ronnie’s personal favorite models at that.
No release info for the Kith x Nike Air Max 95 “Knicks” has been announced yet, but we’ll update our coverage as soon as more details surface. For now, enjoy first-look images below.
