Ronnie Fieg and Nike went back into the lab to cook up a thorough collection of Swoosh footwear, but with a twist: the shoes will be releasing only in kids sizing. Fueled by his desire to pass down his passion for footwear to the next generation, the Kith founder has crafted a seven-piece sneaker capsule dedicated to the fashionable smaller-footed folks whose parents are looking to instill those same values of fresh.
Revealing the collection bit by bit over the past few weeks, Ronnie Fieg has fully presented the Kith x Nike collection, which includes the Air Force 1, the Air Max 95, Air Footscape Woven, and Swoosh 1. First off, the Air Force 1 appears in a full-fledged lux treatment with a white croc-skin exterior, dark spruce green interiors, and touches of a burgundy red. An alternate version in a dark green croc-skin is also presented, as is a full-suede version with old-school color-blocking.
Next: the Air Max 95. Fieg and close pal Joe La Puma were spotted wearing the shoes sitting courtside at a Knicks game; this instantly began to generate hype behind the collection, although many were admittedly left disappointed at the limitations in sizing. Alongside that orange/blue pair is a second version in a dark red with the same Kith monogram tile textured laid above the classic gradient.
The third and fourth model are the Air Footscape Woven–a cult hit in the lifestyle sector–and the Swoosh 1–a Toddler-sized easy on/off model. This marks the first time the Footscape Woven is offered in kids sizing.
The entire collection is expected to launch on Friday, November 28th at 11 AM ET exclusively through Kith online at its chapter store locations.
