Tyrese Haliburton is revisiting where his basketball story first took shape. The Indiana Pacers star recently unveiled a PUMA Hali 1 Oshkosh North PE, created exclusively for Oshkosh North High School, the program that helped launch his rise.
The moment carries real weight. In 2018, Haliburton led Oshkosh North to a state championship with a performance that still defines his competitive edge. That same edge resurfaced years later, as he answered “overrated” talk with a deep NBA playoff run.
The PUMA Hali 1 Oshkosh North PE leans fully into school pride. Layered hues of green are a nod to the Spartans’ uniforms, while a smooth gradient on the midsole creates more dimension without being distracting. Haliburton’s No. 14, which he has since retired, is featured on the tongue.
Rather than treating the pairs as display pieces, Haliburton personally delivered them to both the boys’ and girls’ teams. Seeing the sneakers worn in actual games reinforces the point. This project is about access and inspiration, not hype.
As of now, the PUMA Hali 1 Oshkosh North PE remains a true player exclusive. No public release is planned.
