Jordan Brand’s golf collection remains on an upward trajectory, and the brand has been doing so without gimmicks, but by instead doubling down on nostalgia. The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf “Legend Blue” is a nod to one of Jordan Brand’s most iconic colorways and translates one of the most popular hardwood looks to the course.
The colorway reference is the Air Jordan 11 “Legend Blue”, which Michael Jordan wore during the 1996 NBA All-Star Game. On the “Legend Blue” Air Jordan 1 Low Golf, that same soothing blue hue is used for the Swoosh trim, collar lining, and Wings logo. A white leather upper maintains a clean and recognizable look.
For the outsole, a translucent blue piece provides the needed traction for the golf course, while keeping the shoe’s profile classic. This is a subtle but appreciated update. Jordan Brand continues to walk a careful line with its golf offerings, and this is what tends to separate the best from the rest.
The colorway has been reimagined on various models in the past, but the Air Jordan 1 Low Golf makes sense. The low-top silhouette was meant for the street, so it makes sense to take that directly to the course.
