Nike Kobe 6 Protro All-Star 3D 2026 Release

Nike Basketball celebrated NBA All-Star 2025 with a standout take on the Nike Kobe 6 Protro, dressing the Mamba’s most sought-after signature style in a new Sail colorway featuring stars instead of synthetic reptilian detailing. For 2026, Kobe Brand is reaching back with a blast from the past, bringing back the Nike Kobe 6 “All-Star 3D Hollywood” to commemorate the All-Star Game’s return to Los Angeles.

The shoes originally dropped during All-Star Weekend 2011 to mark the game taking place at the then-Staples Center, home of Kobe and the Los Angeles Lakers. Kobe dropped 37 points and earned All-Star MVP in a Western Conference win, but he didn’t actually wear the shoes during the game. He did, however, lace them up for his induction on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame that same weekend. Kobe was and remains one of a select few athletes to receive that honor, and the first to get molds of his hands and feet made for display at the TCL Chinese Theatre. With All-Star Weekend returning to Los Angeles in 2026, this time at the home of the Clippers, it’s a fitting moment for the shoe’s first-ever Protro release.

The Protro appears just like the original from 2011, taking inspiration from 3D movie glasses with a three-dimensional upper and mismatched red and blue hits across the Swooshes, TPU heel clip, and Kobe logos. The inner tongue updates the design for the present day, featuring synthetic 3D glasses graphics and “2026” split by a Kobe sheath. Of course, an actual set of 3D glasses is included with the shoes so they can be properly appreciated.

The Nike Kobe 6 Protro “All-Star 3D” releases sometime during All-Star Weekend 2026, which takes place February 13th–15th. Given the special significance of this pair, area-exclusive drops via the Nike SNKRS app are possible, if not likely. See detailed images below and stick with us for all the latest updates.

In other Nike Basketball news, the Book 2 “Phoenix” drops January 16th.
