Deion Sanders keeps making moves with Nike’s retro future, and his recent lineup no exception. The brand officially announced the Nike Air DT Max 96 Low coming down the pipeline. This debut gives one of Sanders’ signature sneakers a fresh start. Trimming down the iconic look into a low-top version helps make it feel more versatile and wearable.
Nike sent the Air DT Max 96 Low out in a handful of colorways, including everything from blacked-out styles to bronze details and timeless white and black. The eye-catching colorway was definitely the “Be Legendary” pack, showcasing gradient warm tones. Team colors don’t seem to have a place here, and that’s alright. It’s nice to see this shoe excel again when mixing performance pedigree with casual flair.
Alongside the DT Max 96 Low, Sanders also previewed multiple Nike Air Diamond Turf 2 colorways. Familiar 49ers “home” and “away” looks return, while new options reference his Cowboys tenure and explore darker finishes. The Diamond Turf series remains central to his Nike catalog, serving as the visual bridge between his football dominance and sneaker culture.
Not every previewed pair is guaranteed to reach retail. Some may remain player exclusives, which adds a layer of intrigue around each unveiling. Still, the steady expansion of Deion’s Nike lineup feels intentional and well-paced.
The Nike Air DT Max 96 Low is expected to release in 2026 at select retailers and Nike.com.
