This release pulls inspiration from Nike’s Air Tech Challenge line, the same series that defined Andre Agassi’s on-court style in the 1990s. The Air Jordan 7 “Tennis Day” uses Phantom, Lemon Twist, Pink Blast, and Anthracite to echo that bold tennis-era attitude. Internally, Jordan Brand is even referring to it as “Tennis Day Colors,” which confirms how intentional the crossover is.
Built with balance in mind, the model is expected to feature a mesh base with nubuck overlays, staying close to the Air Jordan 7s original construction. The splatter detailing is a direct nod to the Air Tech Challenge 2 and acts as the strongest visual bridge between both worlds. Flat laces keep the presentation clean and let the colors speak.
