adidas and Arte Antwerp are back together, and this time they’re introducing something new. The Trivelad arrives in three single-color builds that feel intentionally quiet.
On top, suede jackets smooth out the upper without feeling overly slick. Centered along the interior panel, a zip adds ease of entry and provides a strong graphic element. The collar extends up higher around the ankle and flairs inward, gripping closer to the foot like a sock. Small holes are then punched along the midfoot for texture and contrast, while a piece of suede running down the shank mitigates some of the gloss.
The colorways themselves are understated: dark sage green, cream, and good ol’ fashioned black. Each one understands not to overwhelm the design, and in turn, that humility allows the overall silhouette to pop.
