Jordan Brand has opted for some trendier takes in its lifestyle releases as of late. They’ve looked sharper, sleeker, and more fashion-forward than ever before. You certainly can’t ignore that fact with the brand’s latest endeavor, as this hybrid takes influence from movement just as much as it does basketball. Meet the Jordan Pointe “Black/Sail.”
True to form, the silhouette remains relatively minimal. A sleek matte black upper extends clean-cut from toe to heel with only some soft overlays lightly adding structure throughout. Spanning across the midfoot is a wide elastic strap in place of laces that hooks into a triangular Flight badge, allowing branding to remain subtle.
The detail down low speaks volumes in contrast. Sculpted in Sail, the midsole bends through the midfoot with swooping organic curves. A black rubber outsole features wavy traction patterns and a recessed white Jumpman logo. Cream color accents a pull tab at the heel to help break up the collar and the rounded rear quarters keep the model feeling low to the ground.
