LeBron himself has said that he’s lost count of the number of signature shoe’s he’s had in his insanely long NBA career. Aside from the twenty-tree chapters of the mainline signatures, LeBron bears ownership of several other lineages such as the Witness and the Soldier. Only until his actual son entered the NBA did Nike introduce the LeBron NXXT Genisus, a series dedicated to paving the way for the new generation of star hoopers.
This Summer 2026, the Nike LeBron family will welcome JuJu Watkins to the crew through two collaborative colorways of the LeBron NXXT Gen Future, the newest silhouette in the newly established line. LeBron himself debuted one of the two colorways on Saturday night, revealing the Metallic Silver/Light Crimson edition.
The NXXT Gen Future caries a completely new design; they appear lower in height than its predecessor, a leather toe overlay that stretches up the lace collar, synthetic mesh on the upper, and a classic Swoosh placement. Beneath is a full-length Cushlon bed with forefoot Zoom Air encased by a translucent rubber midsole/outsole combo.
It’s likely that the NXXT Gen Future will be a strong tool to connection with young hoopers including the likes of Watkins and Bronny James, who very recently revealed his own signature PE logo. More to come, but for now enjoy these first look images provided by @nbakicks on Instagram,
