In some fortuitous timing for the Three Stripes, two of the brand’s foremost hardwood talents have officially teamed up, Donovan Mitchell and James Harden wearing wine red for the first time only a week and change before the world descends on All-Star Weekend. Though we’ve already parsed through much of what the German giant has in store, there’s still some surprises to be had, including the Spider-Man-esque adidas DON Issue #7 “All-Star” at hand.

If you’re getting deja vu, you’re not off-base; indeed, we’ve already spotted a separate adidas DON Issue 7 “All-Star” that’ll touch down for the three-day festivities. This is a GS equivalent and GS exclusive to pair, instead shifting towards a sportier and more playful version of the gradient aesthetics its sized-up counterpart established. Though not an official collaboration with Marvel, there’s no denying that there’s a tacit embrace of  Mitchell’s “Spida” moniker, following in the footsteps of genuine link-ups like the Across the Spider-verse two-pack or a range of comic-inspired takeovers for his first signature shoe.

The adidas DON Issue #7 “All-Star / Spider-Man” drops alongside its adult counterpart, releasing on February 14th with a $90 price tag.
