JJJJound is continuing its low-key run with New Balance by turning its attention to the rarely spotlighted 475 for Spring 2026. Instead of chasing trends, the Montreal label sticks to its signature minimalist approach, dressing the retro runner in a simple black-and-white palette that feels understated by design.
Originally built in the 1980s as a serious mileage shoe, the New Balance 475 has only recently returned to the rotation. After reappearing through an Aimé Leon Dore project in 2024, the model has popped up with a few other collaborators, but it still sits well outside New Balance’s main wave of 2000s-era lifestyle runners.
This JJJJound edition arrives as part of New Balance’s Black Core Uniform lineup for Spring 2026, featuring a black suede and mesh upper paired with white detailing on the tongue, laces, lining, and midsole. Subtle co-branding lands at the heel, keeping things deliberately restrained.
The JJJJound x New Balance 475 “Black” is expected soon via JJJJound’s site, with wider details to follow.
