LaMelo Ball’s signature line rarely sits still, even in its cleanest colorways. This pair looks simple from a distance, then slowly reveals itself the closer you get. The PUMA MB.05 “Mist” arrives in a bright PUMA White base that feels sharp without trying too hard.
The upper blends lightweight textile with engineered mesh, carrying a faint grid texture that reads better in hand than in photos. The mid-cut collar wraps higher around the ankle, giving the shape a more locked-in presence.
A molded wing-shaped TPU piece stretches across the laces and midfoot, holding LaMelo’s gold emblem at the center like a quiet signature pressed into the design. The PUMA Formstrip barely shows itself on the lateral side, etched into the build instead of sitting loudly on top of it. Breathable mesh sits underneath, adding depth without shifting the balance.
Gold sneaks into tiny details. “NOT FROM HERE” crawls up the forefoot, “1 of 1” stamps on the heel, and lightning graphics ascend the tongue pull tab. Then there’s the heel logo, which fans out like wings. It brings everything full circle without feeling heavy-handed.
The midsole swoops into a sculpted wave shape that feels dynamic, rather than cushy. White-on-white all the way down, the traction pattern curls around a tiny skull graphic.
