The Hall of Famer recently shared a clean, all-white version of the Nike Air DT Max 96 cleat in a new Reel, instantly sparking buzz among fans who are still waiting for certain Diamond Turf styles to hit retail.
While Nike and Deion are expected to expand their partnership in 2026—possibly revisiting silhouettes like the Air Diamond Turf 2—the DT Max 96 continues to be a staple within the Colorado Buffaloes program. The model has remained closely tied to Coach Prime’s on-field presence, blending nostalgia with modern-day college football energy.
This latest pair keeps things simple with a fully white build, leaning into a crisp, uniform-ready look. As of now, there are no plans for a public release. However, Sanders did hint at a different kind of opportunity. In the caption, he invited parents to show love for their young athletes in the comments. Because of NIL and eligibility rules, Nike can only gift pairs to kids who are not yet in high school.
So while most fans may not get their hands on this all-white DT Max 96 cleat, a few lucky young athletes just might.
