On shelves filled with slim runners, PUMA is pushing in the opposite direction. Height, volume, and attitude define this moment. The brand’s latest leather two-pack leans into that approach, standing taller than the original Speedcat ever did. The PUMA Speedcat Wedge “Leather” lands March 1, 2026, and it makes its presence felt.
The off-white pair keeps things sanitized and reserved. Soft leather makes up most of the upper with light suede lining the lateral stripe. Underfoot lies a dark brown rubber outsole that simply keeps things low-key. Nothing is too far thought out, but nothing is minimalist either.
The black version takes a sharper turn. Smooth leather wraps the upper, and textured brown suede cuts across the sidewall. The contrast reads refined instead of loud. Plush collars add structure around the ankle, and the wide midfoot strap locks the fit in place.
The fit of this shoe also feels cleaner than past Speedcat Wedges. Previous iterations felt more leisurely. This release feels curated, almost designed, yet still maintains the oversized wedge silhouette.
