Los Angeles artist Victor Solomon is stepping into NBA All-Star Weekend with his most ambitious sneaker collaboration to date. After previously working with Reebok, the designer behind the NBA’s reimagined trophies is now teaming up with Nike for a three-shoe capsule releasing exclusively through Shoe Palace.
The collection includes the Nike Air Foamposite One, Air Max 90, and Air Force 1 Low, each inspired by a distinct part of Los Angeles. The Air Force 1 “Sunset Strip” serves as a tribute to the city’s iconic nightlife corridor, blending luxury detailing with classic basketball heritage.
Premium materials set the tone throughout. The upper combines tumbled leather with intricate lace-like patterns across the toe box, tongue, and quarter panels. Gold Swooshes add a bold contrast, while matching gold chain laces bring a trophy-inspired aesthetic. Basketball-shaped lace locks finish the look, reinforcing Solomon’s signature design language. Custom branding hits the heel, and the insoles feature Los Angeles map graphics marked with geographic coordinates for an added storytelling layer.
Limited to just 1,000 pairs, the Victor Solomon x Nike Air Force 1 “Sunset Strip” carries a $250 price tag. The release is scheduled for February 13th at 10:00 AM, available exclusively at Shoe Palace’s Melrose location in Los Angeles.
