Momentum around LaMelo Ball’s signature line continues to build, and this latest drop leans fully into his “1 of 1” identity. The PUMA MB.05 “Lo” brings a more experimental visual direction to the ongoing MB series.
Shimmering throughout the upper are gradients of murky greys and gasoline greens. The top is fragmented by a spider-web cracked overlay. The layered aesthetic makes the entire shoe feel experimental. It creates a sense of organized chaos that other iterations in the series haven’t tapped into before.
Black mesh construction through the tongue and collar keeps the build balanced, while “ONE OF ONE” text wraps the laces. A bright pink lightning bolt cuts down the tongue, adding contrast without overwhelming the darker base.
Hits of pink continue along the heel with “1-1-1” markings and graffiti-style “La Melo” branding. Just below, an alien graphic with a halo reinforces the signature storytelling direction tied to Melo’s on-court persona.
A sculpted black midsole sits underneath with aggressive shaping, while the outsole features a bold lightning traction pattern and skull detail near the heel.
The PUMA MB.05 “Lo” will be available first at the Foot Locker space in Los Angeles for NBA All-Star Weekend. A wider release has yet to be announced.
