Rather than any weighty narrative propelling their take forward, the Khakis x New Balance 2010 is tooled for your “Day Tour,” prioritizing the everyday comfort that the 99x-inspired shoe provides and coated in a similar “daily driver” palette fit for days around town and nights out alike. Namely, the streetwear label calls up a digestible blend of dark browns and tans in the topmost layers, before shifting to cooler grey and blue. Interestingly enough, neither campaign nor official product shots reveal any co-branding notes, but maybe that’s just a final expression of this pair’s under-the-radar appeal.
