Ja Morant Leaks Nike Ja 3 “Scratch”

by thesneakerscroll@gmail.com

Ja Morant is once again getting ahead of the usual sneaker leak cycle, this time revealing a new Nike Ja 3 colorway on Instagram with a simple “Leakz” caption. The pair continues the “Scratch” theme and pulls clear inspiration from the Memphis Grizzlies’ throwback uniforms, while also extending Morant’s habit of teasing new designs before they reach the usual channels.

Newly revealed styles, including “Ja-Raffe” and “Mardi Gras”, hint at more exclusive territory. That idea gains traction with the latest “Scratch” colorway.

This version features a teal-based upper built with reinforced mesh, giving the shoe a lightweight but durable feel. Across the design, white claw mark graphics add an aggressive touch that ties directly to the Grizzlies’ identity. Underfoot, the midsole stands out with a split color execution, pairing red in the forefoot with teal in the heel. A jagged black support structure cuts through the middle, extending upward into JA-branded TPU detailing that adds both stability and visual edge.

For now, the Nike Ja 3 “Scratch” has no release details tied to it, which suggests it may be a player-exclusive made specifically for Morant. However, similar throwback-inspired looks have hit retail on the Ja 1 and Ja 2 before, so a future launch—or a slightly adjusted version—still feels possible.

Either way, it’s another clear example of how athlete-driven storytelling keeps shaping the direction of modern performance sneakers.
