Nike Book 2 “Texas Longhorns” PE (2026)

Devin Booker is once again using the spotlight to debut a new player exclusive, this time tied directly to a key NBA event in Texas. As the San Antonio Spurs bring their annual I-35 Series to Austin, the matchup against Booker’s Phoenix Suns sets the stage for another custom sneaker moment tied to the city’s basketball culture.

Ahead of the game, Booker revealed a Nike Book 2 “Texas Longhorns” PE on his Instagram story, connecting the design to the University of Texas and its deep basketball history. The colorway draws clear inspiration from the Longhorns’ signature palette, swapping in bold orange Swooshes that immediately link the shoe to the Austin-based program.

From a design standpoint, the pair continues a familiar direction within Booker’s growing line of exclusives. The build closely follows the Nike Book 2 “Spiridon” concept, which borrows elements from the classic running silhouette originally designed by Christian Tresser. That same foundation has already been used across multiple Booker PEs, including more formal and team-inspired editions, making it a consistent canvas for storytelling.

While the changes here are relatively minimal, the context does the heavy lifting. Tying the sneaker to the Spurs’ Austin takeover and the Longhorns’ legacy gives the pair added relevance beyond just aesthetics.

As with most of Booker’s player exclusives, this Book 2 “Texas Longhorns” version is not expected to release to the public, keeping it firmly within the realm of on-court exclusives and limited athlete-only designs.
