Duke Women’s Basketball has officially introduced a new player-exclusive take on the Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro, signaling continued momentum for the model’s return within Nike’s performance lineup.
For years, the Kobe 6 Protro has dominated the spotlight, widely viewed as the go-to silhouette from Kobe Bryant’s catalog. However, recent moments—especially during All-Star Weekend—have shifted attention toward the Kobe 3 Low Protro. The “Warning Label” colorway generated strong buzz, hinting that the model is ready to compete at a high level again.
Part of that growing visibility comes from on-court exposure. Jalen Brunson has been seen wearing the updated low-cut version in multiple PE colorways, including the “Arancia” pair. The redesigned build, now closer in shape to later Kobe models, brings a modern feel while staying rooted in performance.
Duke’s exclusive edition leans into the school’s signature colors, pairing clean white with deep royal blue. Mesh construction across the upper keeps things lightweight, while the outsole stands out with a glossy, patterned finish that adds visual energy underfoot. The result is a sharp, team-driven design that also highlights the model’s broader color potential moving forward.
As expected, the Nike Kobe 3 Low Protro “Duke” PE will remain limited to Duke athletes and won’t see a public release. Still, it reinforces a clear message—this silhouette is no longer sitting in the background.
