Reebok’s return to performance basketball continues to build momentum, and its next step arrives with the Engine A 26. While much of the spotlight has recently centered on high-profile signature launches, this model represents the brand’s deeper push to reestablish credibility on the court through innovation and consistency.

The Engine A series originally set the tone for Reebok’s modern hoops direction, introducing a fresh design language backed by its ERS cushioning system. Now, the Engine A 26 moves that foundation forward with noticeable updates aimed at both comfort and performance. The midsole sees the biggest evolution, combining a responsive SuperFloat forefoot unit with ERS technology to create a more dynamic, dual-density ride.

Up top, the construction shifts toward a more adaptable feel. A wrap-around mesh replaces earlier structural elements, offering improved breathability and lockdown. Underfoot, the traction pattern has also been refined to support quicker cuts and better grip during gameplay, signaling a performance-first approach throughout the design.

The launch lineup keeps things visually sharp with three distinct colorways. A bold “Cheetah” option delivers standout energy with gold accents, while “Atomic Tangerine/Digital Lime” leans into vibrant contrast. For a more classic look, a white and black pair is accented with hits of red and teal for added depth.

The Reebok Engine A 26 is set to release on February 27, 2026 via Reebok.com. Pricing lands at $120 for the white-based colorway, while the other two styles will retail for $130.
