Basketball’s current PE sneaker king has another gift in store. Devin Booker’s “Book Club” continues to grow through hoopers at both the professional and collegiate ranks, here ushering in a Nike Book 2 PE for the Michigan State Spartans ahead of March Madness.
Michigan State ranks just behind Kentucky in Booker’s heart. The Grand Rapids product grew up just an hour from campus and practiced at the facility while in high school, and he remains a close friend of longtime MSU coach Tom Izzo. Book hooked the Spartans up with a Nike Book 1 PE in 2024 and looks to keep the PE pipeline flowing as long as he’s got a signature line.
Iterating on the Book 2 “Spiridon,” Michigan State’s PE features white mesh, chrome Swooshes, and Spartan green hits on the mudguard, outsole, lining, and ribboning. MSU’s Sparty mascot appears on the lateral side of the heel.
These won’t see a public release, but you can catch ’em on court as Michigan State closes out its regular season and chases its third NCAA National Championship next month.
