Jordan Brand’s renewed focus on 2000s styles continues with the Air Jordan 14 “Black/University Blue” from 2006, back for its first-ever retro release on March 21st.
Some consider this one of the best non-original Air Jordan 14 colorways ever, arriving at a time when Jordan Brand was focused on pushing off-court-minded styles in the wake of MJ’s retirement. University Blue hits on the midsole and Jumpman recall MJ’s Chapel Hill days, while the bulk of the upper is done in pleated black suede. Lastly we have chrome hits on the midfoot plate and heel branding – fitting for the model given its Ferarri-inspired roots.
